So what's new? on a random evening . I was wandering the night sky when I  my eyes got attention.  some random five star appeared in the south direction  in mmy place.

since it is really past dawn and some brightest are rising its visibilty in the sky . it were it got my attention among  the few stars in the sky . Apparently I noticed 2 stars and then  with 4 stars to the west of it.  graudally I considered may be these 6 stars are in one constellation . may be it could be , I can see it resembes cancer constellation but it not certainly as it in the  nearly the southern  hemisphere. and  among the stars the first in the east looks the brightest star in the south .

this is what I say , couldn't capture it in the camera but I just trace for my convenient where the stars stand in with respect to others.

for then I learned that, the  east side 2 stars( I noticed first )are the stars in centarus constellation and star ALPHA CENTAURI is the  3 rd brightest star in the night sky and also it is trio star. then HADER next to it.

but the really one that fasinated me is CRUX CONSTELLATION in the west, with gacrux, mimosa and Acrux and delta crux.

and also it apperas inside the CENTAURUS  constellation  which I really do thought at first as it belong to single constellation.

CRUX - latin word meaning cross . yes the cross that christianity says and it looks like it.

and significantly  it is also called SOUTHERN CROSS. since it is in the southern hemisphere.

It is known as cross  , Greek people where able to see the cross before it disappears below the horizon due to procession of earth's  axis. evidently they linked the disappearace of the cross with crucifixion of Christ . it says about how the myth got the name to the crux as somehow the birth and crucifixion of the christ  are talked by the star.

Crux was first described as a separate constellation by italian explorer Andreas corsali in 1516. and Crux is familarly known as the "smallest constellation" of the offically regitered 88 constellation by IAU- International astronomical  union.

let's look into the  4major stars in the Crux :

GACRUX: It is the 3rd brightest in the constellation and 26 th brightest in the sky.               it is Red gaint star.

MIMOSA: as it is the name of the touch me not plant and also mimosa is the drink.               and yes also the name of the 2nd brightest star in its constellation.

mimosa  is latin word meaning- actor, we normally refer actors as the star. here its  mimosa is star which means actor.

ACRUX:   is the brightest  star in the constellation and known as alpha crucis.

some people say acrux was the star of bethlehem that led the magi ( wise man) to the baby jesus.

it is a multipe hypergaint star. acrux is a double star with alpha crucisA and alpha crucis B together appearing one star. also seeing the star through the small telescope it would appear triple star as the HR4729 known  as acrux C more distant companion forming the triplet stras.

It appears  as brightest  because  the multiple star together appear brightest.

DELTA CRUX:  is the faintest star in the constellation .

also to the dout, why crux is the southern cross  ?

there is aslo a  northern cross , as it says the northern hemisphere  it appers and it is a arterism(it is not a constellation but with a pattern  formationof stars ) as northern cross in the CYGNUS constellation.

the cygnus appears as the  cross  with the wings spread from the vertical line which I could visualize  as seen from the picture.

the myth , stories , fantasies are no more available in this current trend . they are the once the greatest hobby wher ethe leisure time is spent on ,now our hobby becomes scrolling .

what new in this star , there are thousands and thousands star are in the sky ?

yes there are , when we wander in the sky we might find our star which shines our eyes among many and finds the comfort . is is like finding love and soulmate . it shines specially in our eyes and says more stories .

the childhood of many and remindrs of many are thoes pools shines light years away from us .
