Voyager -1

Voyager -1 along with its twin Voyager-2 travelling beyond the planets and far more. It is not the trip made to return on sometimes, it is the search for life and signals beyond our existence of the intellectual.

Our friend rolls the solar system at a speed of about 3.6 AU per year escaping from the earth so far a year ago. Today on 5th September 2023 it completes 46 years of journey alone with hope as in our connection. Both the twin spacecraft are still sending scientific information about their surroundings through the Deep Space Network. As of 4th September, it is 161.03929 AU or 14.9 billion miles from the sun. The farthest spacecraft from Earth so far in history on a solo journey in a different direction as the twin voyager -2 with the same prime motive to explore the interstellar mission VIM.

The Voyagers travel too far from the sun to use solar panels, instead, it is powered by sources called Radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) which convert the heat produced from the natural radioactive decay of plutonium into electricity to power the spacecraft instruments, computers, and radio and other systems. The plutonium inside their RTGs has a half-life of about 88 years.
Why VIM 《Voyager Interstellar mission 》?
The primary mission was the exploration of Jupiter and Saturn -the discoveries of active volcanoes on Jupiter's moon lo and the intricacies of Saturn's rings, as interplanetary exploration. Later it was the extended mission to race beyond the heliosphere and entered interstellar in August 2012.
