About him: Shri S.N.Bose is an Indian mathematician and theoretical physicist.
CONTRIBUTIONS:
- He is best known for his work on quantum mechanics in the early 1920s collaborating with Albert Einstein in developing the foundation for Bose-Einstein condensate.
- His other field of the subject is electromagnetic radiation, the theories of X-ray crystallography, and thermoluminescence.
- Although seven Nobel prizes were awarded for research related to SN bose's concept of boson, Bose himself was not awarded a Nobel prize.
